Some links opening as new windows.
Since forever I've had Firefox and SeaMonkey set to open links as new tabs. For the last 2 versions I've noticed sometimes links are opening as new windows. I haven't really been able to come up with a pattern... and cannot reproduce it at the moment. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue? It seems to happen mostly on JS links that don't allow middle-click, as that's pretty much the only time I don't middle-click to open a link now. It was my impression that these were supposed to be diverting to new tabs (per use setting) and not windows though?

Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

FWIW, I've had similar issue before: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=2979779

Maybe, but I don't think so, as I thought I had that disabled. I thought I had an example site, but it was opening links up in tabs again.

Can you edit your first post to correct this, as if you just read it, there doesn't seem to be an issue. I know you mean you want them to open new tabs, but you get new windows, but that's not how it was written.patrickjdempsey wrote:Since forever I've had Firefox and SeaMonkey set to open links as new windows.
