hi,
there are a lot of spyware, crappy ware from webpage which pass throught antivirus since march 2016.
i notced they all have the same subdomain name or the word 'alerte' in domain name (dont try the url, there are dangerous):
4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981.alerterobuste.com
4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981.alerte-sur.com
4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981.alertecomputer.com
4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981.alerteelegant.com
4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981.alertelegant.com
4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981.alertesolide.com
So, 4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981 is the keyword to block fro many browser and navigation surf.
is there an option in seamonkey to forbid/block any page with the string of "4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981" in the sub-domain name ?
thank for help
Have a good day

NoScript would not block the site, but would block JavaScript from executing from the site, which would most likely mitigate any malicious content.
(One of your other threads) the Acylic dns proxy option he mentioned sounds good (though I have no knowledge of it).
I'm not familiar with Adblock Plus to know if it can do something like Acylic, & preemptively block sites that contain particular string as part of their address?
(I'm not familiar with) ABP: Writing Adblock Plus filters, but maybe something like:
With 4d0a8a26-a90a-43b8-90c6-250af10ac981 appropriately defined?

This is the ABP-style filter to block as you're asking:
However ABP itself probably won't help you here - you likely need something that will block whole pages, such as uBlock Origin.
Code: Select all
