It was using browser sniffing - I remember changing the user agent in my SeaMonkey 2.42 to Firefox 43 and it complained where it didn't before. Of course it's fixed now.

I had problems with some sites with lately. Turns out that some sites just won't function if you block the cookies. For these sites I choose the option to except session cookies only. So if your blocking cookies for weather.com, try that. Figure session cookies only is better that fully accepting them. As for firefox, I totally jumped that ship awhile ago. They no longer give you that option with the cookies. Not sure why they did that.

Nostalgia. They miss the good old days before they had cookie controls, because it was "bloat", and the most popular browser extension by far was one that restored cookie controls.
