surfstick pictures blocked & sites displayed basic

Post by manxoxman »

hey

i am using seamonkey happily for ages now.

problem when browsing with surfstick:
pictures from ebay (example) will not display when i am surfing with a surfstick (3G right now).
my provider is 1&1/vodafone.

when i did download chrome to test, it worked just fine.

more:
some sites do not display any styles at all. plain html with no images, only text and text links

even more:
also when browsing via the surfstick i am getting scary script-/security warnings

still more:
some sites wont load at all (code: sec_error_ocsp_future_response)
script issues i guess

any idea how to "fix" the pictures issue?

cheers

Is the clock set correctly and shows the current time and date?

Hi,
Does your "Surf Stick" provider have a forum or offer any kind of support for errors?

or who ever it is.

i was thinking about that too since i got issues with those variables since i disabled kinda all sensors. i need to manually auto-set clock each time device gets online (and i want it set right). already tried to fix this but no clue wich processes are connected or what sensors i did disable... and where ;)

i just did set the clock...
it seems to really do the trick for most issues! but pictures on ebay wont load... still...

maybe provider is using some kind of compression for seamonkey?! its odd to see it working fine with chrome.

and for the record: wifi no problems at all. only when using umts - different provider.

whats the second best browser to use?
i am looking for add suppression, picture suppression and ... ... low battery consumption

Linux? With a wrong clock you get problems for sure.
