Cannot access stored passwords

I use Sea Monkey 2.4 and normally access passwords via Tools>Password Manager>Manage Stored Passwords, then select a webpage from the left hand panel. Now when I do that, the Passwords tab on the right hand side is greyed out. The Cookies tab is usable, but the other four tabs are greyed out. Any suggestions please?

I can look at my passwords by using this as a bookmark and clicking on it:
chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.xul

Hmm...all too technical for me. I guess I'll have to wait on 2.45.
