I have been using Seamonkey browser for many, many years. Suddenly, I cannot browse any sites - Amazon, Yahoo, Google, etc, I get the "This is not a trusted connection" error message. I tried resetting my computer to an earlier date but that still does not cure the problem. I am running Windows 7. Any help out there?

Okay, silly question: Is your system's clock drifting?
When I've had that issue, it was a system clock that had gotten way out of sync with reality.

Re: Untrusted connection error
I have also had SeaMonkey for many years. Now use 2.40 on windows 10. Today my browser forgot all its browsing history, my forums didn't recognize my computer, my brokerage account would not let me log on, and youtube no longer knows the subjects I like. Does anyone know what might have gone wrong? This sounds to me like what Keila902 is experiencing, but if not, I apologize for jumping on your thread.
PS My clock is spot on.

Re: Untrusted connection error
That actually sounds like a different issue to me.
Specifically, it sounds like "history and cookies disappeared", which makes me think you got booted into a different profile somehow. That is my first guess, anyways.
Tools menu, select "switch profile", and see if there's any options.

Thanks for the suggestion. I only have one profile called default. I still have cookies listed for some problem sites, but have no way of knowing if I lost any. What could erase the browser history, given that I did not visit preferences, where I believe history can be intentionally deleted

Re: Untrusted connection error
@Keila, most likely your antivirus (which is?) is interfering.
"This Connection is Untrusted" error message appears - What to do

Re: Untrusted connection error
Hello all, I read an article on line that Kaspersky (anti-virus) security is causing this kind of problem.
I am going to call them now. Thank you for the lead. Keila
