Google Mail support

Using V2.4 on Windows 7. When using Google Mail I now get this message at the top of the email page: This version of Firefox is no longer supported. Please upgrade to a supported browser. I dismiss it each time but wonder if it is a bug in SM or if it is being addressed in a future upgrade. Any info or suggestion on how to use SM and be supported for Google Mail? Thanks
