Just copy the text into the location bar and press enter. I have also pinned it to my Bookmarks toolbar.

Its Gecko 49 the Firefox backend SeaMonkey is using. Its not a crash but a hang. Probably because there is old junk in the profile. There were a few similar report now but nothing which points to an error in the code unfortunately. Mostly it seems to occur in old profiles which have accumulated junk over time in the internal databases.

Thanks. No it does not work. Bob.therube wrote:> I want to delete a cookie like I could do in 2.40.
Any change if you restart SeaMonkey in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode ?
Does Cookie Manager then work?

Then, @Bob, as a test, create a new, clean Profile, fire it up & see if Cookie Manger works there.frg wrote:Mostly it seems to occur in old profiles which have accumulated junk over time in the internal databases.
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Re: 2.46 Cookie Manager Crashes
Thanks. I read all the info on creating a new profile but do not understand it. I don't want to loose all my existing profile info. Are there any step by step instructions and if I create a new profile can I save all my existing info. If my existing profile is corrupt how can I know what is corrupt? 1) Tools > Switch ProfileBob Fam1 wrote:Are there any step by step instructions
2) Click "Manage profiles..."
3) Click "Create Profile", then Next. Give it a unique name, and click Finish. Do not change the folder location.
4) Select that profile in the list on the right, and click "Use Profile".
Yes. A new, clean profile is totally separate from your existing profile.Bob Fam1 wrote: if I create a new profile can I save all my existing info.
You can try this - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_ ... _SeaMonkeyBob Fam1 wrote:If my existing profile is corrupt how can I know what is corrupt?
