Search engine troubles

Post by crabswrabies »

My issue sounds similar, but oddly different. I prefer to get a google search from my url bar. Instead, I'm getting duck duck go, which I hate. Yes, I know google is Satan and they track me blah blah...but I'm pretty boring. Nothing of interest to track. So I prefer the convenience.

Also, it seems like highlighing with the mouse has become really difficult to do, like if you go over the field, it immediately dehighlights the text. This is what I get for not disabling forced updates, I guess. I HATE browser updates for this very reason. Seamonkey has gone from my primary browser to one I will be ditching as soon as I can.

I split your post from it's original location because your issue is not the same as that of the OP in that thread.
