Lost my "File Menu"

Post by LinuxUserSince1991 »

I was in the hospital for six months, and during that time several people used this laptop. One of them made the "File Menu" disappear. How do I get it back? :)

Moving to SeaMonkey Support.

Have you tried holding down the Alt key and pressing "F"?

Check to see if the Menu Bar is still active. Use Alt V to open the view menu. Then select Show/Hide. Is there a check in front of Menu Bar? If not, then it was turned off. Click Menu Bar to turn it back on. A check mark will appear before Menu Bar.

If there is already a check in front of Menu Bar, then the menu bar was minimized. Look for an icon with a down arrow followed by :::: (similar to the icon at the left end of any other tool bars you may have, only sideways instead of vertical). Click on that icon to restore your menu bar.
