I've started to get this error message: 5.7.1 v1OBwic0006402
saying message has spam like characters. It's a word doc I put together. Thoughts? tx

Re: error message
Word can (often does) add HTML characters that are not interpreted as intended when pasted into SeaMonkey. Unless you have no choice, it would be better to use SeaMonkey's built in editor to compose that outgoing message.

Re: error message
Well, actually I rec'd the contents in an email from a known friend. When I tried to forward that, I rec'd this error message: 5.7.1 v1OCIv6u029576 with the same "spam like" comment. That's when I copied the contents into Word. Any other option than retyping the whole thing in SeaMonkey? tx.

Re: error message
Copy the message content into a plain text editor like Notepad, save the file, then copy and paste the content into a message compose window in SeaMonkey.

Re: error message
Not surprising. The email server is not evaluating the contents of any attachments, so the same content is sent without question.
