This Plugin is Vulnerable and Should be Updated

Post by ka6uup »

Why am I suddenly getting this message when I try to open Adobe Acrobat?
I remember this in the past and thought it was fixed.

What version of Adobe Acrobat do you have? Recently Adobe updated its products due to serious security issues, probably that's why you get this message.

It probably was fixed, then the future came and more security vulnerabilities were found and fixed.

There are 3 Adobe Reader blocks dated Feb 16 2017 here.

I guessing because the plugin is vulnerable and should be updated. Try updating it.

Maybe your Acrobat updated itself, in the interim.
(11.0.20 has been out since 4-6-2017.)
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Unless you actually use the little used Shockwave (for director) Player Plugin for anything you should probably uninstall it. It is not needed for the Flash Player to work as they are separate.
