max connections to cache

every time I try to reset max cache connections to 3 it reverts back to
5 how can i make it stick, am I putting the wrong imap server directory
for hotmail in?
PS I have asked this question on usenet mozilla suport seamonkey,but I never seem to get answers there lately.

If you're experiencing some problems while using IMAP under SeaMonkey then check your AV soft. I've got Eset NOD32 AntiVirus and in past it caused some problems when SSL protocols filtering/checking was set in AV.

Sure, it was SeaMonkey message about "max connections" but that problem was on AV side.
