Yahoo Imap not working in Seamonkey client

Many people are reporting the Yahoo IMAP has stopped working for Thunderbird.
Others have verified that Android client still gets Yahoo IMAP.
Yahoo admitted an IMAP problem that was fixed this morning and said that email client server settings must be reset (they are ambiguous at best).
However, they also said nothing changed on their side other than repairing a server (I don't believe them).
Yet, Android email client is working with Yahoo IMAP which makes me wonder if Seamonkey/Thunderbird has lost some sort of compatibility with Yahoo IMAP.

Are any others people having trouble accessing Yahoo via Thunderbird or Seamonkey email client?

Yes. Quite a few have reported problems with Yahoo & Thunderbird.

• Yes, same problem here (yahoo IMAP - using SeaMonkey 2.49.1 or SeaMonkey 2.51)
