Some pages are blank

Post by becherekmg »

Hello.

I have a problem to view some pages in Seamonkey, which is my main browser. I use Linux Mint Debian (LMDE) 64bit version and Seamonkey 2.48 (64 bit). When I try viewing my favorite TV program or video server, I receive only a blank page. I had some troubles with videos in previous versions of Seamonkey but there was never a problem to view any page. There are some information about my system:

  • About Seamonkey: User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0 SeaMonkey/2.48
  • I downloaded Seamonkey as a normal user and I installed it to /usr/share/ as root
  • And probably I should mention there is no problem with the pages in Firefox

stream.cz is blank if you disable JavaScript.
(And now you've got me watching car crash videos ;-).)

Thanks for your answers.

But I had a idea today and now it seems that the problem is how I install Seamonkey. Today I tried to use my home directory for installation and it worked perfectly. So my idea is that I do something wrong when I use /usr/share directory for installation.

  • :-k I always install SeaMonkey (.tar.bz2) on /opt and never had such problems.
