Seamonkey and filetypes

Post by talkee »

How do I get filetype to be saved automatically instead SM asking everytime if I want to open it or save it? Filetype isn't shown in Helper Applications.

Tried to teach SM to save it but after dozen attempts no luck. FF learned to save wanted filetypes quite quickly but SM doesn't want to.

edit: copying MimeTypes.rdf from FF's folder to SM's folder fixed it.

What file type?
Link to the file that you're being asked each time?
Not all servers set the correct (or expected) mime-type & for some there is no default, & for those you will be prompted, automatically use, being unavailable.
