Hi again,
Well, I 'think' I solved the problem.
I replaced the new profile's mail folders with the old profile's mail folders.
I replaced the new prefs.js with the old profile's pref.js
Then I imported the bookmarks and address books from the old profile to the new profile,
and it seems to work.
Time will tell.
I will let you know if I have any problems with it.
.... john
P.S. I still don't know what went wrong in the first place.

Re: images not showing in specific website
Hi TPR75,
Well, it happened again. While I was surfing Kijiji the images suddenly disappeared, as they did before. Then I remembered your suggestion about the permissions for images. This time I looked at that 'Media' tab and noticed that one of the images had the the 'Block Images from i.ebayimg.com' box checked. When I unchecked it the images in the 'Media Review' windows started to show again; and when I restarted SeaMonkey the images were showing again in Kijiji.
I don't know what's going on here, but maybe that's the fix when/if I have this problem again.

If you are using Adblock Plus then you can use "Open blockable items" list (Ctrl+Shift+U). Then you'll see how many 3rd-party sites are used/linked on Kijiji. Permissions must be made for all of them. Images are hosted on eBay servers so you must have adequate permission.shakushinnen wrote:I don't know what's going on here, but maybe that's the fix when/if I have this problem again.
I've made default action for Adblock Plus status bar icon to immediately open list of blockable items:
Code: Select all
extensions.adblockplus.defaultstatusbaraction: 1
