Hi,
I"m training SeaMonkey to delete items "I" mark as Junk; but the same senders keep showing up in my inbox. Do I have to add each sender to the filter list to not have their mails show up?
.... john
P.S. I only want SeaMonkey to delete what "I" mark as junk.

Do you have SeaMonkey's Junk Mail Controls turned on? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Junk_Mail_Controls

Hi Dan,
I think I have it set properly. I have no 'Options' folder under 'Tools'. I cannot find my 'white list'; and there is nothing in my junk filter log. I'm not sure what else to tell you.

Did you read the section on Training the Junk Mail Controls in that article? You need to mark both Junk and Not Junk as well as identifying which address books Thunderbird should use a a white list.

Hi Dan,
Yes, I'm training it, but it doesn't seem to be getting the point. I'll try resetting the training program and see if that works. I've been marking all mails as Junk or Not Junk, but it doesn't seem to care.
By the way, I'm using SeaMonkey's mail program.
Thanks,

Yup, sorry. I misspoke. But the functionality in that area is the same for both email clients.By the way, I'm using SeaMonkey's mail program.

Right. Thanks.
I'll get back to you if 'retraining' doesn't do it.
