Does SM 2.49.3 meet the new PCI Security Standard (PCI DSS) cited below?
PayPal asks me to upgrade my browser. I followed the primrose path and there was no SM route.

Yes, it already uses TLS v1.2baumgrenze wrote:Does SM 2.49.3 meet the new PCI Security Standard (PCI DSS) cited below?
It didn't ask you to login, it asked if the sandbox page loads and it does.baumgrenze wrote:Please visit our sandbox site from each of your browsers. If the page loads, you are already upgraded. If the page doesn't appear, please follow the steps below:

Sandbox sites are not real or fully functional sites.

Re: PayPal Upgrade Browser Request
Firefox has TLS 1.2 enabled by default since Firefox 27.0 Release (Feb 4, 2014) (or Gecko 27.0) as per Bug#861266. Firefox 60.0 (Gecko 60.0) has TLS 1.3 enabled by default as mentioned in Release notes.
There are TLS settings prefs on the about:config page that specify the minimum and maximum TLS version.
security.tls.version.min = 1
security.tls.version.max = 4
1 means TLS 1.0
2 means TLS 1.1
3 means TLS 1.2 (default in 59 and earlier)
4 means TLS 1.3 (default as of Fx 60.0)

Re: PayPal Upgrade Browser Request
Thanks for the replies.
Unfortunately, I can use my login/PW to PayPal with Chrome and the page opens. When I try with the latest SM it fails.
Is there an explanation for this?

Why are you trying to log-in to Sandbox? Are you application developer? Do you need to test something?baumgrenze wrote: The sandbox site link is:

If there is an explanation, you'll find it on this site - https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/San ... 84926#M733
