outlook.com always worked fine for my email accounts there. Never had a problem with any version of SM.

Went there tonight and it's blinking and flashing, pages won't load right and it's driving CPU usage very, very high. Even causing screen freezes.

Anybody know what happened in the last few days and what to do about it? I'm guessing this is another downgrade like YahooMail and so many other sites recently. Has SM been targeted for extinction by them?

How are you accessing that Outlook account, through the email client or through the browser? I'm not seeing any issues here accessing my account through the browser.

Browser tab.

It just bounces and wiggles all over the place as if it's continually trying to reload itself. If I get to be able to open a reply or compose box, I can only type a few letters at a time before the screen goes blank again. If I keep typing blind, those characters will eventually appear, but it might take a minute or more.

If you're not seeing the behavior, they may not have hit you with the update yet.

You are posting here using Firefox but asked about SeaMonkey. Are you running both?

Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
If no improvement using Safe Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

No, we've been through that before. I have to spoof FF because too many sites across the web actively try to thwart normal use of SM thinking it's a useless relic.

I don't know how to show 2.49 here in spite of that.

Rather than spoof, just report that you are asking about SM and the version number.

Did you try Safe Mode?
