Restore user names and passwords

Post by fixit7 »

Whenever I import my bookmarks into a new installation, I lose my saved user names and passwords for sites.

Is there a file I can import from a previous installation?

Log in data (user names and passwords) are not stored in the same file (places.sqlite) as your bookmarks. To transfer the log in data, copy over the files key3.db and logins.json.

I'm guessing that means copying over signons.sqlite worked for you. Is that correct?
