SeaMonkey crash plugin-container

Post by rdtom »

SeaMonkey 2.49.4 crashes
plugin-container.exe, version: 52.9.1.6768
NPSWF32_30_0_0_134.dll, version: 30.0.0.134

Does not produce a crash report.
My antivirus, Bitdefender free, quarantines profile.ini and other files.
Some of my settings get changed (folder views) I have it set to show hidden files and folders. Windows 7 includes AppData in this group.
May be cured by the next flash update.

I had started NWS radar image loop of composite reflectivity
https://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid ... 11&loop=no when SeaMonkey crashes

Re: SeaMonkey crash plugin-container

more info
In Safe Mode web page doesn't get to the loop, only loads the first part
It should get to "loop and zoom 10 most recent images"

New Profile crashes. No crash report.

If my antivirus deletes profiles.ini and if I start SeaMonkey without a profile.ini SeaMonkey will create a profile folder and a new profile. Since I have Seamonkey on my J: drive I don't have a profile folder in C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\SeaMonkey

Another strange behavior after the crash some process keeps accessing my floppy drive. I haven't figured out which.

If my antivirus deletes profiles.ini
Well obviously you want to tell you A/V to ignore that file.
And report it as a false positive to you A/V.
I had started NWS radar image loop of composite reflectivity
No issue here. Browser & Flash CPU/Mem usage within reason.
Fire 750, bring back 250.
