Please see my problem back on Aug. 14-16 with running SM 2.49.4 as downloaded from the official website.
It would seem that I had to be satisfied with running the SM version that was downloaded from the WG9s website. As a last resort, I downloaded the zipped version of SM 2.49.4 from the official website and it runs ... perfectly.
Should there be that much of a difference between the Windows install and the zip install?
