A script on this page may be busy

Post by The.Purple.Hippo »

Using SeaMonkey 2.49.4.

Everytime I go into the Stylish addon, I get the following message:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: chrome://mozapps/content/extensions/extensions.xml:1043

Can someone tell me how to fix this? I've already deleted the files extensions.json and extensions.ini, all to no avail. Plus I've already asked in the userstyles forum with no success.

Thanks

the problem is happening to SM 2.49.4 and not 2.49.1. I went back to .1

Thanks for the link. I'll now have to disable all my addons and do them 1 by 1. Luckily I don't have that many.

I disabled all the addons and the problem still continues. I even created a new profile and it still happens. The Error Console tells me that all the styles are causing me the problems. I guess I'll have to put all my styles in the userChrome.css and userContent.css files.
