Using SeaMonkey 2.49.4.
Everytime I go into the Stylish addon, I get the following message:
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.
Script: chrome://mozapps/content/extensions/extensions.xml:1043
Can someone tell me how to fix this? I've already deleted the files extensions.json and extensions.ini, all to no avail. Plus I've already asked in the userstyles forum with no success.
Thanks

Re: A script on this page may be busy
Thanks for the link. I'll now have to disable all my addons and do them 1 by 1. Luckily I don't have that many.ElTxolo wrote:The.Purple.Hippo wrote:Using SeaMonkey 2.49.4the problem is happening to SM 2.49.4 and not 2.49.1. I went back to .1

Re: A script on this page may be busy
I disabled all the addons and the problem still continues. I even created a new profile and it still happens. The Error Console tells me that all the styles are causing me the problems. I guess I'll have to put all my styles in the userChrome.css and userContent.css files.

the ublock only blocks ads, not unresponsive script messages.ElTxolo wrote: If you want to avoid that kind of crap, use uBlock

- I don't think so. Your only problem, is that you don't seem to know how to use and configure it.
uBlock Origin can block malware, spyware, trackers, analytics software, popups, scripts, iframes, CSS, and images ....
