Permanently set the ▶default encoding from trans to STRICT?

Post by merry widow »

This is the portable version of SeaMonkey Composer (which I need to use for reasons I won't go into).

Preserve original source formatting doesn't work. I'm coding in STRICT and Composer is just driving me nuts! ](*,)

Is it just broken? Is there an about: hack I can use? or should I just shelve Composer and get a different portable editor? Thanks.

I believe there is a bug where new lines are added, in certain circumstances, perhaps always?
(A quick look, bugs I'm see are all old, & fixed.)
Don't recall offhand if there is a "hack"?
Fire 750, bring back 250.
