I accidentally added the following string name:
general.useragent.override.microsoft.com;Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Firefox 66.0) like Gecko
when I meant it to be
general.useragent.override.microsoft.com
Modify only allows me to change the value, not the name and I don't see any way to delete the entire string. I know I'm missing something obvious. Please help.

AH, I got it. I reset it, then closed Seamonkey. When I started it again, the string value was gone.

the Reset will reset the value to default setting or remove the Preference if it was a hidden one that was added by the user.

What confused me was when I did the reset the entry was still shown with no value. Not until I closed and opened about:config did the entry go away.
