Seamonkey Frozen on Mac

Good morning all, I am an experienced Seamonkey user on Windows machines, but have converted to a Mac. I have the latest Seamonkey code for Mac, and am running the latest Mac OS.

While updating a link address and choosing the Browse for File option, it opens my Finder on Mac. As I go into the file system, Seamonkey freezes and won't respond. My only option is to go into the Task Manager and quit the app. It seems to do it more often when I have to search for the file with several interactions.

While it is not a killer problem, I have to start over and do the search the first thing and it works. As I bounce in and out of the file manager for multiple page edits, it freezes.

Any ideas or does anyone else have this problem on a Mac?

I have the latest Seamonkey code for Mac, and am running the latest Mac OS.

Latest official is SeaMonkey 2.49.5 and it was published today:
https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/2.49.5
It contains some fixes specific for macOS x64 too.

This was a problem with 2.49.4 and should not happen with 2.49.5. If it does please file a bug report.

Upon perusal on the web there appears to be many issues with different browsers on the macintosh computers so it may not be just seamonkey specific issues.
