Hi,
I unplugged my computer and plugged it back in, now I get this message, and don't know how to get passed it.
"You have asked SeaMonkey to connect securely to encrypted.google.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure."
I've tried StartPage, DuckDuckgo, and Google, and it keeps telling me the same thing.
I'm writing this from IE
OS ..... Windows XP
Any help is appreciated.

False alarm. When I uplugged the computer it defaulted to the original date (2002). After I set the date properly, the problem went away.

You should set time synchronization:
https://www.pool.ntp.org/zone/ca
IMHO it should be IP address in case your (or your ISP) DNS server(-s) will not work.

NNTP address is set already but interval is too big:

Time to change your CMOS battery, I think.

Hi TPR75,
What would be the advantage to doing this?
Hi Frank,
Yes, good idea. For some reason it didn't occur to me that that battery is likely caput.

Saving you problems when PC's clock desynchronize its time/date. It can be years like you described above but for security access one hour could be too much.
