SeaMonkey mail only show 3 folders 2.49.5

Hi,
I have set up mail to check my hotmail account; but aside from the 'Local Folders', it only shows 3 folders: inbox, sent, and trash. The Outook (hotmail) website shows several others: junk emails, deleted items, drafts ......... Can these be added somehow?

If it is POP account then it's all right - folders will be created when needed.





Do you want "Draft" folder? Create draft - while composing message save if before sending (e.g. Ctrl+S) or:
while creating a message -> Menu -> File -> Save As -> Draft

Do you want "Template" folder? Create template:
while creating a message -> Menu -> File -> Save As -> Template

Do you want "Junk" folder with spam? Receive spam message and watch what will happen if it was configured (see: above picture).

It sounds like you have that Hotmail account set up as a POP type account whereas your reference to "deleted items" would suggest you are more familiar with IMAP accounts. Check to see if that is the issue.

BTW, with a POP account, folders for Drafts and Junk would be automatically created by TB when required.

Yes, you're right, I am more familiar with IMAP. No, I have it set up as a POP on SM. Yes. I have the account on TB, but thought I would try setting it up on SM. But you may have found the problem. I have it set up on TB as IMAP, and on SeaMonkey as POP. That might be a conflict.

P.S. Yes that was it. As soon as I set it up as IMAP, all the folders appeared.
