I've used SM long enough that I should know this, but it isn't coming to me.
I set up some mailboxes as POP3 years ago. Since then, the host has enabled IMAP. I know how to create a mailbox as either type, but can existing POP3 mailboxes be changed to IMAP?

Re: Change Mailbox Type?
Changing is not possible. If you really must then "disable" old with POP3 (make it to not receive messages), create new account for IMAP and transfer your ALL messages from old to new. But remember that everything you will create (draft, templates) will go to your ISP's server.Wish You Were Here wrote:I know how to create a mailbox as either type, but can existing POP3 mailboxes be changed to IMAP?

Figgered it wouldn't be as easy as I'd hoped. I'll read up and see what might work out best. Or I may just not do it.
