This was happening before, but then only 1/3 (about) PDFs (usually attachments to emails) would not display in the browser. I would have to save them and then open them in Acrobat reader. Now none will show up on my screen. I checked for a seamonkey update but I am up to date (version 2.48). The Acrobat plugin dated March 5th, version is 20.6.20042.43423.

Running on windows 8.1.

Thanks for any suggestions.

First things first. You're not up to date - latest SeaMonkey version is 2.53.1 (64-bit available too):
https://www.seamonkey-project.org/relea ... key2.53.1/
... but there is manual update only (make backup of your profile first).

Most plugins are not supported anymore. If you want to watch PDF document in your browser (when surfing WWW) then you need "PDF Viewer" extension:
https://github.com/IsaacSchemm/pdf.js-s ... y/releases

But it will not allow to open PDF files from e-mails attachments. Maybe some future version, who knows...
