Hi, I followed the Seamonkey Linux Installation Instructions to install on Mint 19.3 Installed under home/myusername not /usr/local/..... OK for my logon but not available for other users. How do I do an installation for all users?

I've got VM (VirtualBox) with Linux Mint 19.3 and I'm using UbuntuZilla repository:
http://linuxg.net/how-to-install-seamon ... e-systems/

https://www.linuxquestions.org/question ... 175521641/

This method should serve all users.

Hi, Thank you. 2nd link is basically same as from Seamonkey install page and does install Ok but not for all users. I could have done a separate installation for each user but then have multipule installations. I've tried the first one some weeks ago and didn't work for me. Decided that this may be because very old post: updates and links . I've give it another try. Should have mentioned I install French versions not English.

Solved in English: I changed the additional repository for mozilla from deb http://downloads.sourceforge.net/projec ... ozilla/apt all main TO deb http://downloads.sourceforge.net/projec ... ozilla/apt all main | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list> /dev/null/etc/apt/sources Now installed for all users but English installation. Just need to find sourceforge's French path. Thanks for the advice. I'm nearly there.

You could install the french language pack available here: https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/. This is installed in your profile like any extension, so every user has to do this. When your version of SeaMonkey is updated, you will also have to update the language pack manually.

Yes, thanks for this. You gave me the clue: The languages pack were installed but Seamonkey couldn't see them. I just had to move them and set preferences for French et voliĆ . Big thank you to all.
