I've been running Seamonkey for a while, currently 2.53, but unfortunately there's one thing that I can't do which is to see whatever interfaces for configuration and icons that add-ons provide.

For example with Decentraleyes, I can't find an icon in Customize to add to the panels, so I can't see if the add-on is working or access its visual log (the configuration panel in Addons works okay but it doesn't have access to all options). User Agent switch, greasemonkey and Stylish also do not seem to add buttons or accesses anywhere.

OTOH Foxyproxy does somehow add an icon and handle to the bottom toolbar (the one where Components shows up), and uBlock origin presents boths an icon and a configuration tab correctly.

Is there any way I can access those icons or panels in Seamonkey? Perhaps phantom URLs kinda like "about:" that could be used in bookmarks to access the panels?

Agree.... it seems that icons for some extensions never show up. The paltry list that are built-in to customize can be expanded by toolbar buttons, but even there some never show up at all.

.... For example with Decentraleyes ....

Image To my knowledge, the 'Decentraleyes' extension, is not available for installation on SeaMonkey:

Unfortunately, webextensions do install into SeaMonkey (2.53+).

We really should have a method to detect & block that (as webextensions do not work in SeaMonkey).
(Webextensions, possibly, cough, in the future [but lets hope not ;-)].)
Fire 750, bring back 250.

I have installed Decentraleyes 1.3.10 in SM 2.53.3 and it seems to work

To test the extension you can use https://decentraleyes.org/test/

I noticed the same thing. I tried several cookie managers before I found one that had a usable toolbar button.

Yes, because toolbar buttons is no longer all inclusive, in order to get icons, I too have resorted to installing different managers. Not an ideal solution IMO. And some extensions say they are installed, but cannot be shown by customizing the main toolbar. No idea of a fix.

As said the OP was a spammer as this OP was copy and pasted from a random reddit thread and spam links were found in some periods.
