I don't know how many times i've accidently hit the Backspace key and been taken back to the previous web page. If I want to go back I'll use the back arrow.

Is there any way to disable Backspace and Shift+Backspace?

Why did you move to Firefox? I don't use Firefox, I use Seamonkey?

You can modify this pref on the about:config page and set its value to 2 to disable the backspace action.
* browser.backspace_action = 2

Ztruker,
You posted in the Firefox General forum.
I did not see your UA so thought you meant Firefox.
