2.53.x how to install loose addons?

once simply copy loose addon (folder not .xpi) to "%appdata%\mozilla\seamonkey\profiles\<name>\extensions\", now do that addon unable install.

You mean na installed add-on that got unarchived in the profile? If you take another .xpi archive, remove the contents with an archive handler, you can put the folder with the loose files into it, save it, then rename it to the name of the add-on it now contains. It will then work to install the add-on.

new profile install a addon write by myself and archived install is fine, but i wish it keep unarchived for easy to modify directly.

btw 2.49.x unarchived addons install is fine.
