Hi,
When I try to download my mail using SeaMonkey mail, I receive the notice that 'I may have exceeded the maximum number of connections to this server', which is Outlook, Office 365 (Hotmail). Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?
Thanks,
..... john

Re: you may have exceeded the maximum number of connections
Hi again,
I don't have the same problem with Thunderbird, but I prefer the simplicity of SeaMonkey's mail.

Hi,
It seems like no one wants to address this issue. Should I just let it go?
Thanks,

Hi Pete,
Yes, I did that, but didn't find anything that worked.
Thanks ....... I think I'll just continue with Thunderbird.

Re: you may have exceeded the maximum number of connections
Hi Pete,
I managed to get it working. I deleted everything I could find, related to SeaMonkey mail, in my user folder. (I'm not sure if that was necessary, but that's what I did.) Then I entered my Outlook password into SeaMonkey's password fields. Now I can send and receive mail again.
Thanks,

Re: you may have exceeded the maximum number of connections
Hi Pete,
The above only gave me the two mail folders, inbox and sent, so I decided to try again. This time I deleted my account, and the IMAP and MAIL folders from my profile; then I setup my account again.
This time, SeaMonkey imported my Outlook folders and mails, and the entire mail account works tickety-boo.
