How to switch to the release channel?

Be sure you backup you existing SeaMonkey profile. Then download the full SeaMonkey installer from SeaMonkey project page ( https://www.seamonkey-project.org/ ) and run that .exe, allowing it to install to the regular, default location.

From the "release update channel"? You are already on it, but updates have been busted for a long time.
