Hi, I'm running SeaMonkey 2.53.6 on a Mac (OS 10.14.6) and recently been unable to log into my Google account. I'm getting the following message--

"The browser you’re using doesn’t support JavaScript, or has JavaScript turned off.
To keep your Google Account secure, try signing in on a browser that has JavaScript turned on."

Is this a known problem, or a fix for this?

Thanks,

Brad

This only happens when you try to login after logging out, i.e. not on the initial log-in.

Use the 'Add Account' box instead and log into the same or a different account.

No problem.

For other people - Despite the really emphatic JS warning there, this is just a general message. The page is detecting by UA string (not feature detection) so a simple site specific Firefox 82 override UA or whatever will bypass this. Trouble is, general overrides mess up other sites and site specific ones can easily be forgotten or not updated.

So..the simplest and easiest solution is the one in the post above. :)
