can't open AOL

Post by Zerebralus »

just have to use AOL to enable the oath2 option on the server but I can't open AOL or it even shows a delay with guce.advertising.com. Just tried to start with a new Seamonkey Profile, but same issue.

Does anybody have a glue to handle this problem?

BTW: Opera open's the page and the TOR Browser also.

AOL.com opens fine with SM 2.53.9 beta and uBlock enabled.

First, make sure you have latest SeaMonkey (right now it's 2.53.8):
https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/

Second, disable Firefox advertising:
Menu -> Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> HTTP Networking -> in field "User Agent String" choose "Identify as SeaMonkey"

Check AOL website again. If it will not work then delete all cookies and settings for AOL - open History (Ctrl+h), find any AOL website URL, click RMB and choose "Forget About This Site", start main page of AOL.

If it will not work then you can try to spoof User Agent. There are (at least) two topics about this:
