I have 2 computers with similar profiles, and have added a new mail account on one of the computers.
I would like to copy this mail account complete with its messages to the other computer.
I have copied the requisite files from the profile Mail folder to the other mail folder, but Seamonkey does not see them.
Is there any easy way to copy the account settings over, or to import the account from a backup?
Add account to other computer

Re: Add account to other computer
How is the account to be added set up on the old machine, as POP or IMAP? If it's a POP type account, you would want to add/recreate the account on the second machine and only then copy over the message files.
If it's an IMAP type account. if you recreate/add the account n the second machine, you will find that SeaMonkey will access the same messages on that new machine as it was on the old, because the messages are stored on the server and accessible by both home computer.
