I have used SeaMonkey numerous times with Zoom and camera and microphone. It has worked fine in the past.
The following is not a problem with another browser, only SeaMonkey. A zoom-type site says my browner (SeaMonkey) can't detect a microphone.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks.

Most likely, not in this life. See bug 956854. Well, technically you can "fix" this by setting the pref to true, but I highly recommend you to think twice before doing this.
And it''s actually even worse than in the bug description. Not only there's no UI prompt to allow/deny the request, but using Page Info -> Permissions to allow camera/microphone doesn't have any effect. Funny that setting the permissions to block does have an effect.

I wonder how/why my zoom sessions with SM have worked fine but this teleconference session site won't work.

Well, either the pref was set to true or Zoom used a NPAPI plugin like Flash, Java, VLC, etc.

Okay, thanks. Guess I'll have to use an alternative browser for this teleconference.
