If you downloaded that version from the official SeaMonkey site that's likely a false positive. What security software are you running?

I run Avira, but that's not who's warning me. I did download from the official SeaMonkey site and Microsoft refused to let me open it because of safety concerns. And when I get an update from SeaMonkey it's from an "unknown.exe" site. Don't know what to do. I have 2.53.9, an update from 8/21, already on my computer. Thoughts? tx.

Probably only need to click "More Info" then click "Run Anyway".

Microsoft is just displaying that to push folks toward their Windows apps store. It comes up with the same "warning" every time I update from the SeaMonkey site.
