The student who was working on this originally recently graduated and we're
working on getting another student up to speed on finishing this up. I'm hoping
we'll have more movement in the coming weeks.

Anyway, it's quite OOT, how does OSU start this mozilla zine, and how each year the lab could fund the server? I'm having a lab, and I plan to have Open Source Community around it to make it grow. Is there any sharing by OSU OSL lab in the past in this forum? If yes, could you point to the thread? Thank you.

Wanted to try this for a while, the https site: Tried with shields down, allowing cookies in Strict Mode.
Get this message with cookies and no cookies:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to forums.mozillazine.org:80. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.
Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

i havent bothered trying using the forum with :80 , but what i'd like to know, whats going on with this forum an the other ? only OSU/OSL can possibly answer that.

That is more about the knowledge base at the moment even though it was locked a while back preventing KB article updates and such.

true it is but i dont think OSU are gonna make a seperate thread for the forum upgrade to once the mediawiki is updated

Yikes, seems things are still broken today, including that post searching.

I'm partially glad my own website's forum blew up in my face when attempting to upgrade it, because it was only for personal use and I don't have to deal with it anymore.

PHPBB really was a fickle beast.
