Quirk in mail client -

Post by Rob_S »

I just discovered a reproducible bug in the mail interface.

If you have a received mail addressed to yourself and others, with a separate reply-to: in the address list and then you hit the "reply" button or use the right-click, "reply to sender only" menu option, the compose window opens with ALL of the original recipients in the address list, just as if you had selected "reply all"

"Reply to sender only" and "Reply" button both seem to work properly if there is no "Reply-to" entry in the original email.

I suppose a better implementation would be that "Rely to sender only" or the Reply button would use the "Reply-to" address but NOT any of the others.

Confirmed.

And if you were also the sender, you are omitted!
