Google says OAuth2 is the only way Seamonkey can log in to Google to retrieve email on my POP3 account. Deadline is May 30th.

Server Name pop.gmail.com
Port 995
Connection Security SSL/TLS
Authentication method OAuth2
SMTP Settings smtp.gmail.com
Port 465
Connection security SSL/TLS
Authentication method OAuth2

SMTP Settings smtp.gmail.com

I am successfully using Port 587 and Connection Security STARTTLS

But it isn't May 30th yet. Will that work after that date?

WaltS48,

Yes, these settings are what Google says will work with the deadline.

I don't have OAuth2. I have Normal password, Encrypted password, Kerberos/GSSAPI, or NTLM.

I'm set on Normal password. I'm presuming that this will no longer work.

So, what is OAuth2?
