For some sites, SeaMonkey doesn't release all the memory for some private tabs.
For example:
- start SM (I'm on 2.53.12 x64, Win10)
- open a private window
- open https://ixsforallph-my.sharepoint.com/: ... Q?e=BnYI94 in it
- close the window
- open about:memory, click "Minimize memory usage" (just to be sure, ya know)
- click Measure - observe that SharePoint site's memory is still being held onto
Is this a bug? It makes me wonder if private windows are even private if all the memory associated with it is not destroyed.

Re: SM not releasing memory from private window
I get a "Something went wrong" with that link (so maybe it is time bombed or whatever).
Anyhow, if you open the same outside of a Private Window, do get the same results (unreleased memory) in that normal window?
Aside from "Minimize memory usage", given time, is the memory eventually released?

Re: SM not releasing memory from private window
The link still works for me.
Home Depot also is an offending site, that I recall. Same with a normal window.
I may or may not understand memory not being destroyed with normal windows, but I do not understand private windows not destroying their objects.
