Hi:
Manjaro, all updated, Seamonkey, updated, every other app works fine
In text mode with cursor:
1. Page down goes directly to bottom of Seamonkey editor page Page up up goes directly to top of Seamonkey editor page There is no in between. It is a long page/post, multiple pages. All of the files for the site do this.
2. Up/down arrow keys same effect. I have to use the mouse on the scroll bar on the right only to navigate up and down.
Been like this for weeks, no other app in this Linux does this, not even the Seamonkey browser, just the editor. Went into EVERY setting in the mouse, keyboard, Seamonkey, caret browsing, for weeks now, searching for this. Searched online search engines, Youtube, etc. I like it, want to use it, but it is a waste of time to not be able to navigate well.
In this text box, it scrolls fine up and down. Mouse, arrows, page up and down. Just not in the editor.
Any ideas?
TIA
Zukester

Re: Arrow/Mouse scroll issue
Confirmed.
Enable Caret browsing
Edit | Preferences | Advanced | Keyboard Navigation -> Use caret browsing
Open a web page in Composer
Hit the down-arrow (or right-arrow, for that matter)
Result:
Cursor drops to (somewhere near to) the bottom of the page
Sample page: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/seamonkey/releases/
Wonder if caret browsing was ever intended to work in Composer?
Once you're at the bottom, up-arrow (or back-arrow or ...) may then work correctly.

Fire 750, bring back 250.

Re: Arrow/Mouse scroll issue
Hit Ctrl+Home and then down-arrow key will not drop to the bottom but will pass line by line.therube wrote:Confirmed.
