i tried sending an email to one of my relatives trough the mail client in SeaMonkey but for some reasons it took a while to send and at the end this message appeared:
"Error in sending the message
It was not possible to send the message as the connection to the outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.gmail.com went out of time. Retry."
How do i even solve this? i wanted to use the mail client but i'm pretty tired of getting these error constantly, maybe i'm starting to this it's gmail's fault (but is it?, i'm not sure)

If AOL/Yahoo is involved, you might need to secure and use their system-generated password.

Re: Having trouble sending emails trough SeaMonkey Mail
⚠SOLVED⚠
i discovered eventually that i put normal password instead of OAuth2 as the authentication method for the email on SeaMonkey Mail, and after sending another email to that same contact it prompted a google login page and the email sent.
any mod of this place, you can lock this topic now.

Re: Having trouble sending emails trough SeaMonkey Mail
That is why I asked about your server settings, thinking it had to do with OAuth2 authentication.
Glad you got it fixed.
