Hi!
I saved my Seamonkey profile and then got a new PC for Xmas.
I downloaded Seamonkey onto the new PC and deleted the profile and replaced it with the saved profile.
Now it says can't load profile
I've uninstalled Seamonkey a few times but now it's loading with a blank profile folder.
So I tried and added the saved profile but it's still says can't load profile.
One issue to note , not sure it's important, but my user name under C://This PC/User is missing a letter not sure how that happened or if it's important.
I have an i7 Intel Nuc with Windows 11 Pro.

Don't copy just some subfolder from "Profiles" folder.hayley3 wrote:Hi!

Delete "old" (newly created on new PC) and then copy entire SeaMonkey "profile" folder:
Code: Select all
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\
In that way you're safe and don't need to manually modify "profiles.ini" file.

Re: New computer, trying to replace profile
but now what do I do to get seamonkey from loading a blank profile?
I've uninstalled from the Apps of Windows and then re-installed and still it loads with an empty profile.
I find some stray files...will update when I hook up the other computer and get the profile.

You missed or messed with something. Make full backup of entire "SeaMonkey" profile folder and then it's easy:hayley3 wrote:but now what do I do to get seamonkey from loading a blank profile?
